“Our starting point”

On 11th Mar 2011, the Tohoku great earthquakes and tsunami hit Japan. A lot of people got damaged and the survivors also lost many precious things.

Why did we start supporting Kirikiri area at first?

Of course, the best way was to support all of the affected areas.

However, we were individuals and could do only small work.

When we had this sense of powerlessness, we met the local people in Kirikiri area who started working just after the disaster for reviving their town without sleeping or resting.

They truly impressed us.

Then, we found a different degrees of interest in the disaster between the affected areas and the other areas in Japan.

We also have felt that the more days we spend the less news about the disaster it is reported in a media and we spend daily life as usual as if nothing had happened in the other areas.

However, we have strongly believed we shouldn’t stop thinking of the local people and would like to support them in any way.

After all, we founded this organization and have started supporting them little by little.

We don’t become too eager but make steady efforts for a long time of period.
